Recognizes a person who has provided extraordinary service to the Latino community.

Natily Santos

Natily Santos is a management leader with proven record of results and creating value in sales, operations, and supply chain functions. She has worked with some of the worlds most recognized brands and organizations including Walt Disney World, Major League Baseball, and the International Olympic Committee. Throughout her career Natily has been committed to creating meaningful outcomes and advocating for Diversity and Inclusion within our workforce, workplace and marketplace. She is the founder of Impacto – Aramark’s Hispanic Market & Employee Resource Group.

Lifetime Achievement

Recognizes a person over the age of 60 who has demonstrated exceptional life-long services to the Latino community

Esther G. Martinez, MD

Esther G. Martinez, MD has been caring for children and their families since 1985. She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and performed her pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is fluent in Spanish and can speak some Portuguese and French. Each family is special, each child has potential, and Dr. Martinez is delighted by their growth and success. She won the Latinos Making a Difference Award in 2007

Latino Youth Award

Recognizes a young adult (14-25 years of age) who has achieved scholastically and in his/her personal life, or has demonstrated leadership through volunteer services to the community

Viviana Sanchez Gomez

Viviana Sanchez Gomez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Moved to Philadelphia at the age of 12. She was one of the leaders in the Esperanza Academy Dance Ensemble, member of the National Honors Society and graduated top 10% of her class. She is currently on her last semester at Pennsylvania State University majoring in Corporate Communications and completing a minor in Business. She started working for Concilio a year ago for the OST High School Program. One day she heard that the Marketing department needed help,therefore she stopped by the office and asked to be a volunteer and now, a couple months later, she’s the Marketing and Event Coordinator Intern. “I don’t know exactly where my career is going to take me in the future, but I know for sure that I want to accomplish great things and give back to my community.”

Community Service Award

Recognizes a grass-roots individual who consistently provides volunteer services to the Latino community.

Madeline Neris Negron

Madeline is currently the Program Coordinator of the Latino Partnership Leadership Institute, whose mission is to foment and nurture the development of civic leadership and to advance the well being of the Latino community at the social, economic, cultural and political levels. Madeline provides community support through relationship building and organizing grass root initiatives. She is the founder of a faith-based group of woman and mothers, called the “Daughters of Destiny”. Together they operate a Woman’s Group, Girl Scout Troop #9427, Girls Mentorship Program the “Princesses’ of Destiny” as well as an Annual Coat Drive “Keeping Kids Warm Together”. The coat drive provides coats, hats, scarves and gloves to over 500 children in the community.
